Back Ground Information of MOSI FOUNDATION:
This is a charitable Non-governmental
organization established to deal with the community education to preventive and
control measures of diseases that the community and the government incurs in
curative measures. This organization is to be an educative tool to the society
in raising awareness in a bid to cut down unnecessary costs of treatment and
thus eliminate ignorance barrier.

Foundation was made in reference to and in accordance to the registration
requirement under the NGO Act No. 24/2002. Registration number is NGO/00004929. It came effectively on 2nd
September 2011.

Vision and Mission Statement
Vision: To enhance a disease free atmosphere in
the Tanzania mainland where all people lead a dignified life.
Mission Statement: To devotedly commit to human
life improvement through imparting of informative and educative knowledge on
positive living and enhance socio-economic benefits to the community.

Management Structure with Leadership Pattern
Board
of Trustees is the supreme authority of MOSI which is consisted with 10
members. Board of Trustees brings any amendment in the organizational
structure. It confirms the yearly organizational activities and accounts. The Committee
is responsible and accountable to Board of Trustees for its work and
organizational management. This is the body accountable for effective smooth
functioning of the organizational activities. Board of trustees also elect the
Executive Director and it performs the management functions and guides the
staff members as assigned by the Executive Committee. The senior staff
works under the direct supervision of the Executive Director. The project in
charge and coordinators works under the supervision of Program Manager. Project
Coordinators and in charge lead the projects in consultation of program manager
and Executive Director. In Coordination meeting the Executive Director preside
over the meeting and take all the important decisions in a participatory
manner. The Coordinators/Project Director, Section Heads reports to the
program manager of MOSI foundation.
